I love learning - and firmly believe that while few things are more frustrating than failing to "get it", the fastest way to gain knowledge and understanding of a concept is to talk to a person who knows what you want to know and understands what you want to understand - and then apply that knowledge and understanding by doing something with it. I love helping people "get it"! I have tutored students from many grade levels - from grade school students with basic math to college students with chemistry and calculus.
I only teach what I do or have done professionally - with a few exceptions for subjects I scored very well in at the high school or college level. I have all of my engineering books from college - they are a prominent portion of my personal library. I have read or listened to over 100 books since graduating college - the average American college graduate reads less than one book all the way through after finishing their formal education!
If you are a "visual" or "hands on" learner who learns by seeing and/or doing, then our learning styles will match up perfectly. I currently work as a mechanical engineer, with a specialty of 3D CAD modeling/design/analysis in Solidworks. I have enough experience with Pro-E, AutoCAD, etc. to be an effective tutor for virtually any CAD program - I keep an up-to-date resume with references and all my relevant projects and it is available upon request.
