I have a master's degree in science and have been involved in teaching and tutoring in math and engineering for Eighteen years both in China and the United States. Recently I taught 8th grade Math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra 1 for 3 years in Texas public school. I am flexible, encouraging and patient with reputations for providing support for students who are struggling with mathematical concepts and quickly diagnose and develop strategies to fill the gaps with appropriate materials, also I am a very creative and talented instructor skilled at developing a thought provoking and exciting learning strategies.

I want to help students explore the fascinating math world and help their mind reason and organize complicated situations or problems into clear simple and logical steps. With the enhancement of reasoning and logical thinking, I shall help students prepare for more advanced college Math courses. I am specialized in tutoring students for grade-level math, Algebra 1 and 2, geometry, PSAT, SAT, ACT, SAT MATH LEVEL 1&2, Pre-AP Calculus\AP-Calculus and Physics.

Jane was very flexible and tried her best to accommodate my son's schedule, who had a test on the next day.

My son said she knew advanced calculus, helped him figure out all his questions, and had him sharp for the test.

Thanks Jane!

Not a single second was wasted. We worked on pre-calculus and she showed me how to do everything, step by step. I had a test that week and the review helped me tremendously.

I would recommend Jane to anyone. She helped me get through 2 years of tutoring my last two years of high school. I moved about 20 minutes away from her during the school year but I continued to tutor with her because she was so great. She was very efficient and very good at helping me with my math assignments. We would work through problems together during tutoring and no time would ever be wasted. She definitely knows what she is doing. I had a crazy schedule during high school but she was able to fit me in her schedule as well.

My student has finished his second session with Jane. She uses time wisely by not only explaining a concept but testing his comprehension with several practice problems. It is a packed hour, and my student definitely feels that we get our money's worth comparatively to other tutors we have used for this subject.

I have met with four different tutors for my Calculus class & I am very glad to have found Jane. She is very smart, friendly, and reliable. Jane does a good job teaching tips and tricks when possible, and generally does a great job explaining more complex procedures. Overall, I give Jane a 10 out of 10 and I look forward to meeting with her again!

Jane knows what she is doing! Since the first session my daughter has found a renewed interest for learning Algebra. She was excited about what Jane was able to show her and looks forward to the future sessions. I believe that this relationship will produce positive results.

My son and I were satisfied and pleased with her service. She is very knowledgeable about the subject and her teaching style is very effective. I accompanied my son to the lesson, she explained material in question well and made sure it was understood. I strongly recommend her, and we will use her services again.

Jane is a wonderful tutor! She has made calculus much easier for me to understand. I really think I will get a better grade this semester thanks to Jane.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
