I am a Microsoft Enthusiast and have used it extensively for the last 22 years. As a public speaker and teacher I have utilized all components of the Microsoft Office suite and am very proficient with them. I have trained employees on the Microsoft Operating System and Office versions since 1989. I can assist you with the general operation of a computer, help you troubleshoot issues you might have and train you with the components of Microsoft Office.

If you need an Access database developed I am your source of help. In my last project I developed and maintained multiple databases for a company that had over 1,200 clients. On top of that almost every other component of the Office suite was used to help those clients become successful through their business relationship with us.

Public Speaking

I have been a public speaker for over 30 years and enjoy it tremendously. There are several key things that lead to successful public speaking. Knowing one's subject, maintaining eye contact with your audience, projecting your voice (but not shouting), and being able to read the audience. If you are not connected your message might not be heard. Whether a speaker uses 3x5 cards, a manuscript, or does it totally from memory practicing can be very helpful.

Desktop Publishing

I used Microsoft Publisher to design weekly bulletins, brochures and flyers for face-to-face distribution and/or sent via USPS. I have also created a "Words Only" book of song choruses which had close to 200 pages.

Microsoft Access

I developed and maintained multiple databases for 1,200 clients to track their purchasing, contract pricing and configure rebates. Through importing multiple sets of data on a monthly basis I could run queries and create tables to assist in reconciliation, looking at trends and forecasting.

Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook has been my primary tool for emails. It is chocked full of tools and user-defined options to not only make it user friendly, but efficient as well. It is great for sending out mass emails from either one or multiple distribution lists. Microsoft Windows

I have owned and used every version of Microsoft Windows so I have seen a lot of change and improvements from Windows 3.0 to Windows 7 which is what I currently use. There are so many features to Windows 7 that it would be difficult to list them all. My favorite feature is the ability to split the screen in half to work on 2 different pieces of software or 2 different documents in Word or Excel at the same time.
