In high school I took higher level math courses, and in college I have completed calculus I-III. I am currently enrolled at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville. I have almost finished my sophomore year, and it's been a fantastic experience. I am majoring in math education, and I hope to later go on to become a professor in math. I have really fallen in love with the subject over the past couple of months, and I want to help people with their dilemmas on the subject as much as possible.
As for myself, I am a pretty goofy guy. I have interesting hobbies like writing poetry, singing in choir, and building boomerangs.
A real issue seen in college is the fact that most people who go into higher math courses have a major problem in their basic algebra skills. Since they are unable to do the basics, they can't go any further. I wish to help remedy this problem and the ongoing stigma against math in America right now.
I really hope that I can help anyone out with their math problems. I truly want to see more and more people be able to enjoy and understand math, and I will do my best to achieve that. Thank you.
