Hello Parents and Students!
I am a recent graduate of Ferris State University, I have earned my Bachelor's of Science
in Applied Biology
with a Pre-Medicine concentration. I have great experience in many Sciences such as: General Biology, Developmental Biology, Genetics
, Conservation Biology, Organic Chemistry
and any other sciences below college level. I am also great with Math
as I have previously worked as a Math Tutor with the Big Rapids Middle School in Big Rapids, MI (References available if necessary.) As a Math Tutor I taught 6th and 7th grade students on Pre-Algebra
and Algebra. I am also great with Pre-Calculus
, and Statistics
. Besides Math and Science, I consider myself a good writer when it comes to essays and such assignments. I can help with grammar
too. As for languages other than English
, I know Gujarati and Hindi
well because I was brought up learning these languages. (I cannot write or read Gujarati or Hindi, but I can simply explain lessons in these languages if need be.) I am fluent in Spanish
as well, I have studied it for about 5 years in total and have traveled to a Spanish speaking country on a Medical Mission Trip. When it comes to computers and technology, I can be very knowledgeable with both Windows
and Mac operating systems, as well as most popular software programs.
I am currently in the process of studying for the MCAT
so that I can attend medical school. My career goal is to become an eye surgeon, it's a passion of mine and many life experiences I have been through have led me to this decision. I am trained and certified to perform CPR. This can be a great learning experience for me as much as it is for you. I have dealt with middle school students, as well as patients from an underprivileged background that only spoke Spanish; both groups could say that I am an honest, trustworthy, hardworking, and caring individual. I care about a student's success and well-being. I can be a fun, patient, and charismatic tutor as I have been in the past.
