Hello, my name is Anne C. I would like to take this time to list my qualifications and my outlook on learning so that if you choose to have me, you will be assured that you are getting the best help possible.
First and foremost, I appreciate that patience, perseverance, and understanding, (along with a solid base of subject knowledge) are key to tutoring individuals of any age group. That being said, I plan on implementing all of them whenever I am called upon to help. Also, I believe that learning is something that everyone innately loves. Therefore, it is my personal goal to help deepen that love of learning for those who have already found it and to help find it for those who have yet to tap into it.
Now for my qualifications:
I graduated from Millington Central High School. I was a member of the National Honor Society and the Beta Club, which are both academically based. I was Editor-in-Chief of my school's Literary Magazine. I was Vice President of the Mu Alpha Theta Club (a math honor society). I received a 31 on my ACT, with my highest scores being in the Reading and English sections (both were a perfect 36). I am a National AP Scholar. Furthermore, I was voted a Commercial Appeal Academic Scholar of Literature in February of 2011. My post-secondary education has been at the University of Memphis. I have not yet graduated, but I am majoring in English in the honor's college while considering a double-major in Spanish.
I have worked at both the Barbara K. Lipman Early Childhood School and Research Institute and Lausanne Collegiate School.
If you have any further questions about my qualifications and/or strengths, please feel free to contact me via email.
Thank you for your consideration.
