My name is Rebecca and I am 20 years old. I liked school growing up and am still continuing my education at Vol State in Livingston, TN. I prefer to tutor in math or music but I will tutor in other subjects as well. I loved all of my math classes, middle school all the way to college algebra. I grew up around music and played flute in the band through middle school and 1 year in high-school. I sang in the choir at Tennessee Tech University for 1 year and the Chorale for 1 semester until I transferred to Vol State this semester. I love math. I always excelled in my math, algebra I & II classes in high-school. I still have all my math notes from middle school and high-school.
I will tutor based on the child's learning ability. If they are a visual learner, I will try to help them based on videos or visually based learning. If they like hands on projects or such, we will do objective learning and think outside the box. I always disliked sitting in a chair for hours upon hours, so when I tutor, we will be up and moving around trying to think of the best possible way to incorporate the information needed into their memory.
