Throughout my academic career, I was privileged to learn new and challenging ways to explore our world through the lens of Math, Physics, and Engineering. As a result, I developed a strong background in Algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. Tutoring fellow college students in Physics and Math was where I developed my tutoring work ethic and learned valuable lessons in communication, encouragement, and perseverance.
Once I graduated from college, I spent five years working as an Aircraft Structures Engineer before going back to school to earn my Masters in Teaching. Becoming a math teacher has been a rewarding experience for me! I get to share my love for math and science with my students and discover new techniques in helping them succeed.
My mission as a tutor is to build confidence in my students, teaching them to use their tools in solving and evaluating problems. And communication is key! I don't mind repeating a covered subject or finding another way to explain a topic. Your success is my success as well. As my Mum always says,"If you don't look good, I don't look good!"
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please contact me. I look forward to working with you!
