I enjoy teaching and helping students to learn concepts that are challenging to them. From high school through college I have been helping my friends, and even their friends, by guiding them through concepts I had to learn on my own. I am comfortable explaining concepts in ways that they understand, or describing concepts by using common ground. It's a fun challenge for me to explain in new ways, but it also helps them learn.
I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science with my Minor in Math. It makes me sad that so many students hate math, but I would hope that I can help them at least see that it's not all bad. When it comes to computers, you will have to check my programming languages listed for which ones I can help on, but otherwise just ask. I've used a LOT of different languages that aren't listed and in some ways they all share similarities.
Since I'm so young, the concepts and theories are still fresh in my head, but I don't have a lot of experience yet. That's also why I won't charge much. I have had some English teaching experience in Hong Kong (2 months), and like I mentioned earlier, I've been tutoring friends for a long time.
I won't charge if you think I didn't do a good job. I am very flexible on meeting times and locations.
Let me know if you have any more questions about me or would like some help, and I can't wait to help you learn!
