Hi, my name is Sadia. I graduated from Wofford College in May of 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Despite the fact that I am a biology student, I individually tutored Chemistry and Mathematics to my peers at Wofford College. I taught myself Organic Chemistry and got an A in that class. When I mentioned that to the Director of Professional Excellence at Wofford, he was astonished that I must be one great teacher because Organic Chemistry is not an easy class. Some students even change their major when it comes to O. Chemistry. I have a passion for Mathematics and Sciences.
I started tutoring when I was in 10th grade. I used to help my siblings and neighbor's children with their homework. After I received my Associate of Science (Mathematics), I taught Mathematics and Sciences at a private school. During my time at Wofford, I individually tutored AP chemistry to High School students as well as Mathematics to Elementary School children in an after-school program. I give examples from daily life to make the hard concepts in Science easy to understand. This ability stems from my passion for Science and my background.
I am multilingual, and I have the experience of working with students from different cultures. I enjoy teaching and really want my students to feel good about what they are learning and I am proud to say that I am successful at it.
