I've worked extensively in the Latino community of the Charleston area, which offered me the opportunity to learn a lot about colloquial Spanish as it is spoken in Central and South America. I've been exposed to many different Spanish dialects in my travels through Spain and Mexico. As for Portuguese, I've been studying on my own for a while now, and although there aren't a large amount of Portuguese speakers in this area, I find it to be an enchanting and rewarding language to study. My inaugural visit to South America lasted for almost three weeks, and took me throughout the city of Rio De Janeiro, and Armação dos Búzios. The people and the culture of that beautiful part of the world are reason enough to spend some time learning Portuguese. I can help anyone achieve success at language learning through fun and interesting techniques, drawing from Spanish speaking cultures and my own experiences and knowledge.
