I will respond to you with 12 hours so that we can get started as soon as possible!
I am a recent graduate of the nuclear engineering school here in Charleston. I graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2012 with a 3.9 in both applied mathematics and quantitative economics. While at the academy, I have tutored students from kindergarten to seniors in college.
For six semesters, I volunteered weekly as a mathematics leader in areas of calculus and differential equations to college students and taught Sunday School to 2nd Grade, 5th Grade, and high school students. I have also participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Before the academy, I held a job as a camp counselor for children (ages 5-12).
I love to tutor and help others. I have had the privilege of taking many standardized tests and doing well on them. One standardized test that I particularly love to help with is the SAT. Although I do well in history and English, I absolutely love anything math, science, or computer related (math, chemistry, and physics are my specialties).
I look forward to working with you or your child. Everyone learns and retains information differently, so I pay special attention to finding the best way to tutor each specific individual.
Have a great day!
