MATH is FUN! I love Math! In my 20 years as a Mathematics educator, I have taught in the Elementary, Middle School, High School, college, and in graduate school. I have a PhD in Math and have studied and mastered different Mathematics curriculum.
Generally, I prefer to tutor in my home and occasionally in the library or any place where group studying is allowed. Students can arrange to see me once a week, twice or 3x a week, or just when they feel the need for help. Students are encouraged to bring a friend or make referrals for a discount.
I give diagnostic assessment to my students the first time I meet them, that way I know how can I better help them. After a session, I follow up with my students through text, phone call, or email and offer more explanations if needed at no additional cost. Students and parents oftentimes text me or email me to inform me that their child got an A or B in a test. Every session, I am always prepared with lots of resources to supplement the materials or problems in the student's textbook. I am very thorough in explaining mathematical concepts.
To those who do not like math, here's the thing about mathematics: Math problems and concepts are never as hard as they seem. Every student I encounter could sense that teaching Math is my passion and I have the ability to explain math in plain and understandable language.
