Anybody can learn "complicated" subjects such as Calculus or Physics if you find a teacher who is patient enough to take the time to explain things sufficiently, and help students work through difficult concepts.

As an Electrical Engineering student at the University of Rhode Island I have been very well versed in Probability and Statistics, Algebra, Calculus, Discreet Math, Differential Equations etc. I also have a very strong science and physics background. I love Quantum Mechanics and the theoretical sciences! Along with the necessary analytical thinking and problem solving skills learned as an engineering student, I have also picked up the ability to conceptualize complex thoughts, and explain them in various and simple ways. I am very good at explaining things and offering analogous thoughts to help people visualize problems, and gain an innate insight into a subject.

Alongside my Engineering and Mathematics background, I also have a strong background in the German language. I can speak, read and write German very well, and have also spent a year in Germany as both an exchange student and a professional engineering intern. Completing this kind of work has strengthened my ability to explain things in different manners, and also to fully complete thoughts and conceptualize ideas so as to figure out the best way to express them, and to clarify uncertainties.

I am very personable, and easy to get along with, have a commanding background in technical subjects such as math and science, and can offer a unique insight into German history, speech and culture. I have been told that I can clearly and concisely verbalize thoughts and concepts, and explain things very well. If you're looking for a fun teacher to help with homework, prepare for tests or simply help you get up to speed in a subject I'd love to help you out!

I have taken an engineering class at CCRI in Warwick concerning AutoCAD and its uses, (inquire for transcript). I have also completed an internship, which partially involved the use of AutoCAD. The use of this program throughout this internship involved the design and drafting of machine shop-quality plans for a lab test device.

At the University of Rhode Island I completed a course on C++ for which I received an A. This involved graphic programming and Graphical Interfaces as well as compiler setup and debugging. Through this course I have also gained exposure to input/output queries and function programming.

Electrical Engineering

I have been studying electrical engineering at the University of Rhode Island, and will be finishing my B.S. in EE this May. I have also conducted two major internship projects, both in Germany, in the EE field. I have studied abroad with international students, and I also have a lot of experience teaching myself and exploring the concepts and math involved with EE as well as helping fellow students understand the material.

MATLAB has been a cornerstone program for me during my engineering enterprises both professional and academic. I have taken numerous courses using MATLAB including overall usage and design of electrical control systems. I have used MATLAB during both of my internships for both data gathering and analysis, and simulation using Simulink.
