My name is Angela, and I am a student at the University of Rhode Island completing my bachelor's in history in December of 2013, I am currently working on my applications to graduate school, where I plan to continue my studies by moving in the direction of archaeology and museum curation. I am a non-traditional student who returned to school at age 28, and I will be receiving this degree at age 31. I do hold an Associate of Science from the International Academy of Design in Tampa, FL where I studied interactive media, but I also really love to draw, especially in the Japanese animation style.
In addition to history, I am also quite proficient in English, writing, and the classics. I even wrote a book last year! I understand that some students find history and social studies quite boring, but I think that I can be the one to help them break barriers and get that better grade, and help them in finding a whole new enjoyment in this fascinating subject. What could be more interesting than our own past? Let me help!
