I am an Ivy-League educated, award-winning teacher. Teaching is my passion. I bring creativity, enthusiasm and optimism to the learning process.

I joined the Ph.D. program in Mediterranean archaeology at the University of Pennsylvania after completing my undergraduate degree at Yale University and Master's at Oxford University. Now I am writing my dissertation while living in Providence (Elmhurst area, close to Providence College PC and La Salle). I have excavated across the globe from Bolivia to Italy and Greece and published academic papers.
As a graduate student at Penn, I taught weekly discussion sections for several large lecture courses and worked with students one-on-one. I received the Dean's Award for Distinguished Teaching given to ten graduate students annually and also served as a Fellow for the Center of Teaching and Learning helping other graduate student instructors hone their pedagogical skills. For years as a camp counselor, I worked with younger students (ages 7-15) as well.
Please contact me to discuss your specific needs! I look forward to hearing from you and--I hope--working with you!
