By far a life saver when it came to Economic Statistics for Business and Economic Majors (Boston University). He is up to date with the latest technology, Excel 2011- knows how to do syntaxes and formulas using Excel for HW assignments, and any question I had regarding the use of the TI 83plus Calculator regarding Statistics tests, distributions, or variable statistics was easily answered. He truly has a passion for mathematics, but is also just a brilliant tutor who loves helping students. I am more than lucky to have had the experience working with David. He is a Princeton University graduate, a Brown University Masters graduate, and PhD in Mathematics and statistics. He is by far one of the smartest people I have ever met in my life, and if you ever have the opportunity to work with him then you are one of the lucky ones too. We would meet at the Brown library which made for a great studying environment, and his commitment to teaching me the most efficient and useful way to learn the material is what I loved most about him. I could flip to any page in my text book and he could just "crush" problems left and right.
Before David started tutoring me, I would feel sick about the thought of Economic Statistics, but he helped me build the confidence I needed to look at any problem and determine the best method to solving it. It's weird to say, but I actually ended up liking statistics by the second Mid term because I scored well above the average in the class. The payoff is definitely worth the investment.
If I ever needed to change our meeting time, or needed a last minute session before the exam, I could easily text him, or email and he would respond very shortly after. He is the type of teacher than change your whole perspective on a subject, even beyond mathematics (philosophy, chemistry, biology). In the future as long as he is still available, I will definitely be contacting him for any sort of help I may need in my studies. Thanks David, I really appreciate your service.

I had David as a tutor for Calc 1 in college. I am not good at math AT ALL, but this tutor helped me a lot. David is a very smart and excellent tutor. He was always willing to make sessions and he is very flexible with his hours. He is also very easy to contact and he always answers quickly. Just make sure you have an agenda or some problems you want to go over when you plan a session. He explains things very well and will go over something until you understand. He is also very patient and willing to keep going over something if you don't get it. I highly recommend David for anyone needing help in math!

I needed some help in my college course Calculus III, and he was more than great. We solve all problems together in many different ways, and as Calculus III requires good imagination as it's a multivariable calculus, he was really helpful to grasp the concepts of all topics and not just memorize formulas!! Finally, English is my second langage, but that was not barrier at all as in our lessons we go in each problem step by step!!!

I had never hired a tutor for any of my kids until my 17 yr old daughter was struggling in AP chemistry and was beginning to hate a subject that she had really enjoyed. She was hesitant about it, but David made her immediately feel comfortable. From the first session I saw her confidence grow as she came to understand the material better. She was so impressed with David's knowledge, telling me "this guy knows everything!" With his help she was able to bring her grade from a low C to a high B and started loving chemistry again! I was greatly distressed due to the incomprehensible projects and tests questions of Econometrics due to an inexperienced and inapt professor. But after working a few sessions side by side with David, I was able to tackle various topics that have confused me in the past. If you are contemplating giving Dave a shout to set up an appointment for some tutoring, don't hesitate. I have tried a few different tutors on WyzAnt and other places, and he was by far the best, hands down. I cannot think of enough good things to say about him as a tutor. He is extremely easy to get a hold of, and always seems to make room on his schedule. He is extremely patient, and genuinely cares that I am understanding the material. I was getting tutored in Trig, and at a few points was having tremendous difficulty with the way the book was presenting the material, so Dave explained it in an alternative manner which was much easier to comprehend. I would absolutely recommend Dave to anyone who needs help with their studies. My only regret is that I did not contact him sooner.
