I am an experienced instructor of English as a Foreign Language as well as a high school English teacher. I received a B.A. degree in English Literature from Boston University, have taken numerous graduate level courses in eduction, and completed a Teacher Certification program at Rhode Island College. While I have worked full time as an ESL teacher, I really love to work with students one on one. I find this to be a wonderful way to connect with students and I can structure my lessons to whatever the student needs. I try to make learning fun because I believe that happy students learn better than bored ones.

I have a very positive, outgoing and caring personality which makes it easy for me to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. I am equally comfortable teaching children and adults. At past teaching jobs I have been known for developing close relationships with my students. I think teaching is an ongoing adventure; every day is unique. I look forward to working with you!
