I received my Undergraduate Degree from Rutgers University in Ecology Evolution and Natural Resources with a focus on Animal Science and a minor in Teacher Education. I then went on to receive my Masters in Education from Rutgers University in High School Science Education including Biology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Agriculture and Animal Science.

I am also available for volleyball coaching. I have played volleyball since fifth grade on both my school and traveling teams. I became captain of my high school varsity team during my senior year and went on to play club volleyball at Rutgers University.

I believe tutoring is not just about pounding a certain subject into a student’s head but is about giving that student skill to not only better understand the subject at hand but to also be better prepared to learn any subject presented to them .

Biology

Most students are introduced to biology in 7th grade and then see it again in 9th or 10th grade. This can include anything from animal process, plant process, human process or how the environment works together to effect each of its elements. Biology also include learning about cells and how different cells exist in nature, what they require to survive and how they can help humans.

Geology

Geology focuses on the study of the earth through mineral, rock and sediment. Talking about plate tectonics, earth quakes volcanoes and fossils.

Ecology

Ecology encompasses a vast amount of subjects but the main theme is how individuals effect each other in a larger community. Learning about carbon, nitrogen and water cycles to lead into energy and the difference between fossil fuels, sustainable energy sources

Elementary Math

In Elementary Math the basic skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division will be covered. Basic math study skills will also be covered to help the student become better prepared for the math in their future.

Elementary Science

This is an introduction to science in general. Many subjects are touched upon while introducing students to the process that are used in science.

Volleyball

I have been playing volleyball since I was 8. I was the captain of my high school varsity team and continued to play on the Rutgers University Club Volleyball team. I am a defensive specialist who can also coach on strategy and endurance in the sport.
