I am a graduate student in Behavioral Science and Statistics at URI. My expertise is in mathematics, statistics, and computers, particularly with programs such as LaTeX, SPSS, SAS, R, and Excel. My bachelor's degree is in psychology with a focus in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee along with some JAVA programming experience. Another passion of mine is the English language, so I am an avid reader and writer as well. Several of my English professors as an undergraduate wanted me to switch to the English department because of my writing ability. And last but not least, I am a guitar player of approximately 20 years through lessons as well as self-taught instruction. I also have experience with playing bass and own a stand-up double bass. I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades, since a well-rounded individual with expertise in many areas has a lot more ways to synthesize abilities in many different ways.

Guitar

I have taken guitar lessons from several instructors over the years, initially when I began playing guitar about 20 years ago and several years back learning more theory. I have acquired bass playing as an extension of guitar, and have applied that to stand-up double bass. I have also done ProTools recording for bands and have played in bands myself both as a guitar player and bass player.
