My name is Marcus and I am in interested primarily in helping those in the areas of Language and Linguistics. I've recently graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a B.A. in Anthropology as well as minors in both Italian and Linguistics. I am also preparing to apply to PhD programs for Linguistics as soon as December. For Italian, I am not a native speaker but I have been studying it for several years, and have studied abroad in Italy twice, therefore if you are looking help with Italian grammar, that is my strong point. In Linguistics, most of the work I have done is in Syntax and Morphology but I am well-versed in the basics of Phonetics, and Phonology as well. Although it depends on the course matter that I'll be assisting students with, chances are I will be using examples from helpful textbooks that I have used in the past and assignments that are multi-faceted and relevant to both the subject and the real world.
In addition to Language studies, I have also been playing classical guitar for over ten years and would be happy to help someone with interests in any form of guitar (electric, acoustic, classical, etc...).
Feel free to send me an e-mail with specific inquiries and I'd be happy to discuss any of these subjects with you.
