I have been a successful freelance writer and dedicated learning coach for more than 16 years. My non-fiction work has appeared in Pennsylvania Magazine, Country Discoveries, Catholic Planet, Canticle Magazine, Southern Living, The Times News, Yahoo!News, Health.com, and many more in print and online magazines, blogs, and newspapers throughout the United States and Europe. I was the Senior Editor at Nicean Magazine, an online inter-religious magazine, and a Learning Coach for several cyber charter schools. I have extensive experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum, and I am adept at finding their strengths and cultivating their unique approach to learning. I will students to utilize their gifts for greater academic success.
My first novel, Budapest (LFP 2007) was featured at the New York Book Festival (2008) and the 42nd Annual Conference of Jewish Librarians (2008) and my current novella, A Berlin Story, is being reviewed by an independent publisher in Colorado Springs.
With many years of extensive writing, reading, and instructional experience, I can help students realize their own potential and assist them in realizing their own academic goals. All children have gifts, talents, and the ability to succeed!
I hold a BA in Cognitive Studies (neuroscience/educational psychology hybrid) from Ashford University and a minor in Sociology. I have studied graduate level English Literature at Harvard University and hope to continue my studies there.
