I have been involved in science education for over 30 years and I have taught chemistry from the middle school level up to and including pre-med students preparing for the MCAT. There is no magic bullet to replace a students willingness to work and their desire to learn. I as a tutor, simply know how to ask a student the right questions and they are then able to find the answers themselves. Sometimes a student is overwhelmed and just needs help in organizing their thoughts. In addition to problem solving hints and techniques, I will show the student how to more efficiently and effectively read their text.

Her main problem was that she did not learn well with the teaching style of her school teacher and so, she was left with a lack of understanding of the topics being taught in class.
