I have been teaching English, reading, writing, grammar, speech and other related areas for over seventeen years with fourteen years classroom experience and sixteen years of private, in-home and other types of tutoring. I focus on individualized attention to my students' academic needs based on communications with them as well as observation and formalized assessments. I became proficient with individualizing instruction during my graduate studies where I learned and eventually applied many methods for improving student performance after observing strengths and areas of opportunity. I have degrees in Humanities, English and Developmental Reading, in all of which I have much experience.
