“The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man." These are the wise words of Charles Darwin.

I am a certified Biology teacher with a passion for the world of science all around us. I attended Temple University as an undergrad and completed my graduate training in Kansas, getting a Master's in Education. I have taught all science classes from Biology, Life Science, Earth Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Ecology and college level Biology courses. I also have experience with honors students. My background is deep in education and rounded out by my love of nature. I have volunteered in various animal conservation efforts such as releasing hatchling sea turtles, feeding manatees and working with pet rescues/adoptions. I am so sure I can meet your needs and improve your understanding of science, which in turn results in better grades! And of course have some fun with Science! Let me know how I can help you.

Basketball

My experience in basketball begins with a successful high school start to my playing and coaching career. I played on a state championship team, then went on to play in college. After graduating I coached college basketball at two different colleges/university. I have coached many summer camps and various competitive summer leagues in the Philadelphia area. I have also done private clinics and basketball instruction. I continue to stay involved with basketball by playing on a women's rec team.

Biology

Master in Education, certified to teach Secondary Biology, including Bio chem, Anatomy/Physiology, Ecology and Life Sciences. I have tutored many college students in Biology courses and also was a teaching assistant in graduate school.

Career Development

My educational background most recently includes a MS in Education. I have tutored on college campuses within the tutoring center which included the career development offices. I have assisted college students with perfecting their resumes and interview skills. I also have reviewed/edited college admission letters for high school seniors.

Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook is a webmail service of Microsoft. You can easily set up your email, contacts, calendar and social networks through this application. I use Outlook every day and multiple times per day. My job revolves around using Outlook for email communication and frequently using my calendar for meetings, conferences and appointments. I think it is very user friendly and feel very comfortable using it. I feel confident that I could teach someone the basics of Microsoft Outlook.

Physical Science

I have teaching experience in Earth and Space Science as well as Life Science classes in late middle school and high school.
