I licensed to teach English grades 7-12, but I have taught 5th and 6th grade as well. (I come from a long line of teachers!) I earned a Masters in Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy and can offer substantial help in psychology. I currently counsel children and adolescents part-time. I have 2 years experience teaching Pre-school and Elementary music. I have also given beginning private lessons in voice, piano, guitar and violin to various ages. I have performance experience through high school and college musicals, and 4 years of vocal performance experience on scholarship through Harding University Belles and Beaux. I have taught basketball and softball to my younger brothers (3 of them!) and at kids camps. I believe that everyone has the potential for growth, but sometimes do not get appropriate help or get overlooked. One-on-one help not only increases skill, knowledge and grades, but also confidence.
