Hi everyone! I am a 3rd grade teacher in Philadelphia, living in West Chester. I have been teaching for 4 years and currently attending graduate school in pursue of a Masters in Education along with a Reading Specialist Certification. I have tutored for the last 3 years. This year I teach 3rd grade and have been awarded model teacher for this school year. I also received an award for best classroom environment. Last year, my full time position was working with small groups of students K-5 who struggled in the area of literacy. We focused our instruction in the different pillars of reading and getting students to reach their potential. I also have tutored reading, math and social studies on a one on one basis.
