Hi! My name is Daniel Du Pont, and I've been tutoring for almost eight years now. I went to high school at St. Joe's Prep in Philadelphia, and am currently a member of the Cornell University class of 2013. I'm a mathematical physics major while fulfilling premed requirements, and have an extremely strong background in math, physics, chemistry, and biology. Additionally, I am proficient in Spanish and an excellent programmer in Java.
In addition to normal subject work, I offer a variety of services in English and standardized test preparation. I have been proofreading papers since 2009, was ranked as one of the top 10 Extemporaneous speakers in the United States during high school, received 5's on 11 AP exams, and received a score of 2370 on the SATs. As such, I offer tutoring in a many English subjects, public speaking, and test preparation.
I have been teaching in assorted fields as a tutor, EMT training officer, and tennis pro, and can offer help to any type of student from those struggling to keep up to those who are already excelling but want to push themselves more. I will take the time to get to know each student's style of learning so that we can make the most progress in a way that is tailored to their needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
