I have been teaching for the past 14 years. While most of my focus has been on English and ESL, I have also helped students with math, science and test preparation. I have taught both children and adults. I have helped students from many countries including China, Japan, Korea, Mexico, and many others as well as American school children. I have also taught overseas. In addition, I have many years of experience working with individuals with disabilities. I will be happy to help you and your family!

During our first session, I will do an assessment of skills and discuss the goals of the student. Then I will develop a plan to improve skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. I also find that many newcomers to the US have great difficulty with all the idioms and slang we use. I am happy to work on these skills to help the student live more comfortably in our area.
