My daughter looked at her first tutoring session much like she would view going to the dentist. Michael seems to take his time and let my daughter open up about her issues with geometry and her general dislike of math. Through out the hour I could hear my daughter become more communicative and involved in the lesson. While of course she didn't say "I loved that, mom" and I got the stand answer "It was fine"; she admitted that she learned things!!! I am looking forward to our next lesson.

My daughter had a major math test on Monday. I got a text from her that said "I killed my math test". First, I was thrilled that she did great! Second, I was even more thrilled that she was excited that she did great. Her confidence in math is now growing weekly. Instead of reading a problem and say "I don't know to do this;" she now reads it, thinks about it, draws it out based on what she knows, then begins to fill in the missing pieces. What a difference.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
