I'm a 2011 Stanford alum who recently relocated to begin graduate school at Harvard. I've been tutoring part-time since 2010, and have experience with many high school math and science classes including AP level chemistry and SAT prep. I'm also available to counsel students in study skills and the college application process.
I enjoy working with students at all levels of their academic journey. I take pride in my unique ability to connect with students and tailor the lesson to their individual learning style and pace. Perhaps the most satisfying aspect of the tutoring experience for me, is the moment a student finally masters her or his subject and suddenly enjoys material that was previously frustrating. As I continue my graduate studies, I look forward to the time I get to spend with my younger clients. Not only is it a privilege to contribute so directly to the knowledge base of the next generation, but I also constantly learn and grow from my interactions with my students.
As a two time ISEF (intel international science and engineering fair) finalist and one time National History Day competition finalist, I would also enjoy tutoring a student interested in pursuing a research project in science, engineering, or history as part of honors curriculum.
