Medical training at the George Washington University includes education in genetics and genetic abnormalities. The subject matter is tested heavily in our boards and we see a wide variety of genetic abnormalities during our pediatrics rotations.
I took linear algebra courses in high school and university. I tutored the subject previously at GWU, mainly helping students with their coursework and complicated problems to help them understand the more fundamental techniques.
I am a graduate of the George Washington University School of Medicine. I took the MCAT while an undergraduate and scored a 36 on the exam. While in medical school, I tutored other undergraduates for the MCAT as well.
I took Honors Organic Chemistry at GWU, where I received an A. I tutored organic chemistry throughout university and medical school, helping students to understand fundamental reaction mechanisms so that they could work through more difficult problems. I use simple reaction diagrams to apply those concepts to more complicated reactions.
I have been tutoring multiple subjects, mainly math and the sciences, for almost ten years now. I try to take an adaptive approach to my students to determine what their strengths and weaknesses are and cater my lessons towards them in a way that would benefit them most. I have experience with a multitude of learners of different ages!
