I graduated from Bucknell University with a dual major in history and International Relations and received my Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania in Social Studies. Under the IR umbrella, I became knowledgeable in religions, political science, sociology, and anthropology. I taught high school history for many years in the subject areas of Western Civilizations, US History and World Cultures. During this time, I also was busy tutoring in Biology, Geometry, Literature and Language Arts. I took off a few years to raise my family of three boys. I returned to substitute teaching and substitute from kindergarten through 12th grade.
I have experienced teaching in all grades and believe that all children can learn. What they need is someone patient, enthusiastic and interested in them. I am that person. I am eager to guide your children to a successful learning experience.
