Hello,
I am currently a stay-at-home mom who has experience tutoring my own kids as well as others in reading and math. My daughter is currently at an Ivy League college doing a dual major. She excelled in math right from her elementary school where she learned the basics thoroughly. She always thanks me for helping her develop strong math skills. I want to put the same effort and tutor kids and see them succeed. I have discovered that the best way to teach, and to learn, is to make the subject relevant and enjoyable for the student. I have a Bachelor’s degree in child psychology and I understand how to motivate the kids to do better in school. I have 2 years of experience as a 1st grade teacher. I tailor my lesson plan to each student’s needs and interests. I love teaching and working with all levels of students. My timings are flexible and I am available 7 days a week.
