The most important parts of improving test scores is understanding the material and being prepared for the challenge of a test or quiz. As a retired public school biology teacher and a professor of anatomy and physiology at the college level I can help with both aspects of improvement. I enjoy the process of helping students find understanding of hard concepts and making analogies and hands on demonstrations to help students remember. I am very familiar with the different types of questions asked on tests at both the high school and college level. I enjoy making it fun whenever possible.
I have taught Biology, AP Biology, Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science, Anatomy and Physiology, Forensics, and Physical Science during the course of 22 years as a high school teacher. I have taught Anatomy and Physiology as well as Biology at the college level.
I have both a Master's of Education and a Master's in Animal Nutrition with significant additional graduate coursework in forensics, neuroscience, and biochemistry.
