Rabbi Michael is a Reconstructionist rabbi living in suburban Philadelphia. He co-edited a recent children’s prayerbook. His curriculum for teenagers was published by "Rabbis for Human Rights" last winter. He has been an education director and classroom instructor for more than 10 years in Philadelphia and Los Angeles.

Rabbi Michael has tutored students preparing for Bar & Bat Mitzvah for the past eight years. He uses "multiple intelligences" to assess a student's work. He makes the learning fun, meaningful and relevant to both students and parents.

I completed rabbinic ordination at RRC, which included 5 years of Jewish history studies, 4 years of Jewish philosophy, as well as studies in Islam and Christianity.
My course work included 5 semesters of biblical texts, as well as work in biblical Hebrew.

Master's degree in Hebrew Literature from Reconstructionist Rabbinical College.
This included:
- 4 years of Modern Hebrew,
- 1 year of Biblical Hebrew,
- 1 year of Rabbinic Hebrew,
- \1 year of Aramaic.
