Nice to meet you. My name is Michael. I am a Philadelphia native that has just moved back to the area after nine years in the Marine Corps. I will begin studying Finance at Drexel University in Fall '13. Before the military I was a Clarinet Performance major at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. During my military career I started as a clarinetist/saxophonist for the Marine Band in Japan. I also served as a liaison for the band to the Japanese. From 2008 to 2010 I studied Korean at the Defense Language Institute. Upon graduation, I served one year as a linguist for government and military officials. I have a plethora of teaching experience, ranging from Korean and English to Radios Theory and Intelligence Analysis. I have observed through experience that students learn best from life experience and practical application; therefore, I try take an interactive approach to instruction when possible. I am a down-to-earth individual that puts the needs of the students as his first priority.
