I am a Ph.D. graduate from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine majored in biology, chemistry and medicine. I possess 5 years of experience in teaching for grade school students (from 4-6 grades) and 2 years of experience in tutoring college students in math and science. I taught college level genetics course at Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth in 2013.
While in college, my team won the 1st place in the AMATYC math competition. I enjoy teaching and sharing my passion with students to help them become successful. My teaching philosophy is, "A good teacher can explain complicated subjects to a 5th grader." If your children struggle with science and math, I can help them identify the problems and overcome them. If your kids are already smart, I will show them to how to exceed and reach their full potential.
