I am primarily a tutor for the SAT, ACT, or LSAT, but I can also tutor in reading, writing, or any high school subject.
I'm a law student at the University of Pennsylvania. I scored 2370 on the SAT and 170 on the LSAT. I graduated from Princeton University in 2012.
I can provide the leadership, encouragement, knowledge of the test, and dedication to each student that will help him or her succeed.
Why do I want to help?
I believe that with studying and guidance, a student can vastly improve his or her score. I am proof of this. I took the SAT in the spring of my junior year of high school, and scored a 2170. But I knew I could do better. I studied all summer, and learned the tricks of the test. When I retook the SAT in October of my senior year, I improved 200 points (800 reading, 800 writing, 770 math). I have the ability to share what I learned to help others achieve similar success.
Secondly, I believe families should have access to tutoring at reasonable rates. Tutoring companies charge over $150 per hour for individual tutoring. I will work with each student to design a curriculum just for him or her, beginning with a full-length practice test to show me the areas in which she most needs help.
