I earned my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in December 2012. Previously I had completed my B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering. I have taken four years of college courses focusing on engineering but extending to Science and Math.
While I was a PhD student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, I was a Teaching Assistant in Physics, Chemistry, and Math courses. In this position I conducted two classes per week in Calculus for our future engineers. I am experienced in fabricating quizzes and exams as well as teaching the basic skills needed to succeed in any technical field. I always encourage my students to be creative and confident. I find the combination of these two qualities spells a recipe for success!
I also have seven years of experience in teaching Math and tutoring Chemistry and Physics during my B.S. and M.S. degree. My experiences extend to SAT Math Preparation and most Science and Math-based subjects.
I hope you’re interested and ready to get to work. I can’t wait to hear from you!
