Hi Everybody,

My name is Cheng, and I may be the ideal tutor for you!

I have graduated from Zhejiang University with double Bachelor's degrees in English Literature and Business Administration, and I'm now pursuing my Master's degree in TESOL (Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages). I taught test prep such as TOFEL and IELTS in New Oriental school in China. I tutored students of Chinese (I taught Chinese reading, writing and vocabulary)for a long time. After I came to the States, I taught an Arabic third-graders English reading and writing for a semester. I taught adult English learners for a semester at Upenn. Currently I am teaching English for Project SHINE at NSC.

Generally speaking, I believe patience and preparation is crucial for tutoring. High interaction with the student is needed. Each student has his or her own leaning style, so it is important to plan teaching according to a student's need.

The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
