My name is Amanda, and I believe I could be a great tutor for you!
As a Temple University sophomore, I am working through the TUteach program at Temple University to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Pennsylvania teaching certificate. Having a sense of dedication and commitment towards my peers, I am consecrated in expanding the minds of students. I strongly believe that the best way to make a difference is to impact the lives of other individuals, regardless of capabilities, background, and social status. The world is a diverse planet full of culture and different ethnicities. Since I believe that there is no one set way in education, I feel that teachers are responsible for expanding the minds of children through creative and successful means. As a pre-service teacher, I have experience in two local Philadephia public school districts.
In general, I prefer a "hands-on" and fun approach to mathematics, rather than just completing worksheets. However, my tutoring approaches vary between students depending on the subject and learning style of the student.
