Hello Students and Parents!
I am a PhD student in Art History, and am currently holding a distinguished fellowship in Philadelphia. While my main area is Art History, my skills as a scholar, student, author, and linguist are transferable across multiple disciplines. I can confidently tutor any historical subject - American, European, World, Art - and am also highly proficient in French and Italian. As an author and advanced student, I have a firm command of all study skills, including organization, critical reading, note-taking strategies, and writing mechanics. I would be thrilled to tutor you or your child in any of these subjects!
I thoroughly enjoy tutoring and teaching, and have been doing so for nearly a decade. As a high school student on a military base overseas, I tutored enlisted members of the military who were working to obtain their college degrees. During college, I tutored elementary school students in myriad subjects. As a graduate student, I taught my own undergraduate college classes. Most recently, I worked as a private tutor for the prestigious Lexicon Academics in New York.
I have tutored a wide variety of students, not only terms of age level, but also subject matter, learning style, and educational background. Thus, I am very good at figuring out how best to explain content to each individual student, based on their own educational background and learning style. My students' success is as important to me as my own, and I work very hard to make the learning process enjoyable and rewarding for everyone I teach.
Thank you for reading my profile! Please know that I will be happy to provide you with a reference from a current student. I sincerely hope to hear from you soon.
