I began tutoring in 2010 while I was still in college. I have always loved teaching others. Watching people learn and use the skills I can provide fills me with a great feeling of pride. I have taught almost every level of Photoshop, from basic skills with Camera Raw and adjustments to building and fabricating new images to compensate for issues involving light and total composition. I am very a very skilled printer as well, and have a natural eye for color balancing and tonal control. I have been using Adobe Illustrator to design products and layouts for companies since 2009 when I briefly worked for DiBruno Bros. That was just the beginning of my interest in the program. I quickly saw how useful it could be when designing for my own public image, website, and flyers for art shows; the possibilites were endless. I began learning everything I could about the program and took courses in college that would help me even more. InDesign has since replaced Illustrator in many ways, and I am always trying to learn as much as I can.
When I tutor I bring all of my skills to the table. I will custom tailor every lesson we have together so that you learn as much as possible during our time. I will work hard to make lessons challenging, but not overwhelming for beginners. For more advanced students, I will make sure that your skills are being pushed to their maximum potential. I have tutored professors at universities to help build their core curriculum and have gotten great feedback from students and administration alike. I hope that we can work and learn together!
