This is my second and final year in Philadelphia, where I'm getting my master's degree in biostatistics. I live in Center City and attend Drexel--first time I've ever lived in a city! Fun and exciting. No idea where I'll go once I get my degree, but it'll be in the field of science. Last summer I did an internship doing statistics work for some ecologists in Paraguay!
In the past I've written for fun and profit and I've tutored writing and English as well as math and science. I even once taught science classes in a refugee camp in Ghana.
In my travels I picked up Polish, Spanish and French, which I think gives me a unique perspective on the English language and the struggles of someone trying to learn another language through immersion. I'm good at explaining things so they make sense, whether in math or English or something else entirely. Plus I love to teach, so give me a call!
