I am an artist, substitute teacher and former art educator. I have a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and a Masters in Teaching Visual Arts. I have taught art to kindergarten age students through adult students and all ages in between. I am skilled in traditional art materials and techniques as well as digital tools. I have been professional experience as a graphic designer and an illustrator. I have self-published a children's iBook. I am knowledgeable in art history and art criticism. I am an experienced painter. I earned a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of the Arts in 2007. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I have exhibited original paintings and drawings in Philadelphia, Madison, Wisconsin and New York.

I am experienced with a variety of painting materials including oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, oil stick. I have worked from small to very large scale. My imagery has been abstract, minimalist and representational imagery.
