Hello, My name is Jayanthi and I love to write. I work at the Abington School district as a substitute teacher and at the Cheltenham school district as a substitute teacher through Kelly educational staffing. I love to work with children. Teaching, research and service are my interests in life. I am an earned graduate with background in Home Economics and Education from India. I love to teach math and vocabulary for elementary kids especially special education students. I have been observing students, both at the Junior high level as well as the students with learning disabilities in the elementary level. It is very interesting to and satisfying to be able to work with students especially the disadvantaged ones. My goal is to improve their life skills in the classroom as well as their near future.
In addition to working with special education students, I also work with students who need an understanding over the English language, especially the vocabulary and the grammar. Substitute teaching has exposed me to learn the skills of tutoring as well as I move on. Pre-algebra is interesting to learn. I promise that with my language skills along with the computer, I would do my best.
