I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Temple University. I will be attending graduate school in the fall at Temple for Music Education. I have a deep love for music as well as Math, Language, and Language Arts. I find an immense amount of joy in tutoring or teaching students. Helping a student gain knowledge and understanding of a subject is just as rewarding for a tutor as it is for the student. I am extremely patient, and I understand how to break problems and concerns down so that a student can completely understand the reasoning, explanation, and solution. I have had experience tutoring and teaching students from elementary through high school since I started college. I am extremely dedicated, motivated, and hard-working. I have always striven to reach academic excellence and fully understand each individual subject that I have taken. I was valedictorian of my senior high school class of 2008 at the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, and I graduated with a 4.01 GPA. I have made the dean's list in college at both Boston Conservatory and Temple University through every semester, and I graduated with a 3.95 GPA. I've taught voice and piano lessons as well as tutored. Additionally, I maintain excellent organizational skills. Each student requires a specific schedule and tutoring plan depending about their goals, needs, and academic level. As president of the National Honor's Society my senior year of high school, I directed and coordinated the annual blood drive, canned food drive, and mix-it-up day. When tutoring or teaching, I place a large amount of importance on each student's individual plan and progress. Every student is unique and extremely valuable, and I am so thankful to be a part of such a rewarding process.
