I am currently a Service Coordinator for Early Intervention Services in the city of Philadelphia with three years teaching experience. I have a Bachelor's Degree and PA certification in Elementary and Special Education.
I strive to provide students with a first class learning environment that produces dynamic results. Effective teaching requires implementing a variety of teaching methods based on the individual needs of the student. I strive to provide students with challenging opportunities, structures and resources to support learners to achieve and demonstrate maximum overall growth. I also have experience teaching students with severe and profound disabilities with the use of communication systems including assistive devices, reflective/textured yes/no cards, auditory/tactile symbols and PECS.
