Hello!

My name is Matt Z. and I am an experienced tutor. I have a great love of learning from a number of subjects, but I enjoy even more the opportunity to help someone learn something new or master something that has been giving them trouble. I have a lot of experience and enthusiasm in teaching English, writing, study skills, math, and history. I also have been a professional artist, and am always happy to assist in art training and practice. But life is not just the classroom; I take an active interest in soccer, basketball, baseball, Frisbee, surfing, and hiking. If you would like to work on those outdoors/athletic skills, I can happily assist you.

Currently, I am a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, so I understand the learning process and how different people learn differently. I take a creative, positive, hands-on approach, and I believe in catering the learning style to the student. I am flexible and willing to work with each individual person to come up with the best possible program. Learning something new, or trying to master something challenging, can be a scary and intimidating process, but that's where I come in. If we work together, we can solve any problem. I hope to work with you!

Best,
Matt
